-It is endemic of Coahuila (Mexico).

Description:

-Echinocereus metornii is a tiny, clustering cactus. Its flowers are very large for such a tiny plant: E. metornii is expected to bloom after 2-5 years.

Cultivation:

-It needs full sun, a well-drained soil to avoid rot. Don’t overwater! Keep dry and cool in winter. It is cold resistant for short period of time.

Propagation:

-Propagate by cuttings (branches grow from the base) or by seeds.

Curiosity:

-It naturally grows in the desert scrub.
