Agave potatorum “Cameron Blue”

Agave ‘Cameron Blue’
Agave potatorum var. verschaffeltii

This plant is native to Mexico.

Agave “Cameron Blue” is small succulent, with an open, usually solitary symmetrical rosette up tp 45 cm in diameter. It can get up to 20 cm tall. The leaves, long up to 15 cm, are green-blue with ruffled, sharp margins.

This slow-growing Agave does great in containers; it needs full sun to partial shade. Water it only when the soil is completely dry (it needs a really well-drained soil).

Propagation can be done by offsets.

This Agave is also called Butterfly Agave.
